Default locking and popping

after i lock my doors on the 96 accord they keep locking as if someone keeps pressing the lock button, and i just noticed they are still going . are they about to die on me , how serious [ expensive] of a problem is this? second question, my 2004 accord [ auto] , when i put it into drive and begin to go the trans clicks, even when it s changing gears it sometimes clicks. and when i put it in reverse it pops . i dont think it is a good sign, any thoughts. i did buy the honda care warranty, this should be covered but the dealership over here gives me a hard time about anything and everything, theyll probably say they dont hear it. anyways any help on these two issues would be greatly appreciated.

the only advice I can give is for the 96.

It sounds like the door lock actuator is going out. Had the same problem with my 95 and replacing the driver's side actutator fixed the problem.

do they have a new one still on the lot? drive it. see if you hear the same sounds. the only sound i hear out of my 07 is a slight scratching noise if i shift into D when still rolling backwards.
