LS Vtec swap

Default LS Vtec swap

hey everyone, im replacing my engine in my 2001 Honda accord and i figured while im putting a rebuilt engine in i want to do an ls vtec swap. so this is my question what do i need and should i stay with my 2.3 liter bottom end, and if not whats the best combination. keep in mind it is a four door sedan.

If your referring to the ls vtec swap that is popular in integral with the b series im not going to say it's impossible, but it will cost u more time and money than its worth. Considering all the mounts are different, transmission is completely different etc.

F series love boost, it'll save you time and money and be faster.

If you're really asking about a similar swap in the Accord universe, I guess that would be a swap for an H-series engine (DOHC 2.2 or 2.3). You can put an H-head on a F-block (like the LS-VTEC), but easier to just find an H22 or H23 engine.
