Default M2A4 CV Boot leak

Hey everyone i have a F20B matched with a M2a4 Transmission.

It just started slowly leaking transmission fluid out of the CV boot seal where the axel matches up to the transmission.

I'm not sure where to start on finding the part to fix this..

Any websites anyone knows off hand where i can find parts for my M2A4?

Not familiar w/ M2a4. Is this auto or manual trans? stock trans?

Transmission fluid should not leak from the CV boot. You can leak grease from boot but not trans fluid.

Transmission fluid can leak from the differential housing where the CV axle meets the differential. There is an end seal that is replaceable.

good luck

There have been reports of aftermarket seals not working as well as OEM seals. You should consider OEM for this if available. I seem to remember some special installation requirements for this seal, so get a shop manual to guide.

good luck

From a parts store, the only ones to date that I've seen with true Honda fluid is carquest.....the other option is is the dealer.

Castrol Multi-Import works great as well.... almost expensive as dealer prices so it must be as good lol
