Is the maintenance program from the dealer necessarily??

First off , the only repairs that you HAVE TO DO at a dealer is only the warranty work and you do it there because it is FREE..
You can pick and choose any shops to do the work on your car , and it WILL NOT void the warranty at all...I would have a shop that specializes on Hondas do the work,, I would not go to an all around shop ...First off they might not use good quality parts and when it comes to diagnostic they are a few steps behind ,
That was what i wrote on the second post answering you...
did you take it to a shop the specializes on HONDAS ?? all the work that they did is pretty easy work to do,,
I feel bad that it did not turn out too good for you..
that is going to make the people that say DEALER ONLY add another feather to their cap..

Hide,,, my man..... brake fluid flush, A/T fluid. IS NOT warranty,, that is maintenance,, customer pays for that.......
Any work that need to be done that falls before 3 yrs or 36k miles ,, the dealer does for free,, EXCEPT maintenace work.. or any other work that honda might have extended warranty on past the 3 yrs or 36k miles .........example. water leak, wind noise, wheel bearing noise, fan does not work , a/c blows warm ,, etc etc,, all of this if under 3 yrs and 36k would be under warranty and dealer would do it free of charge
services ARE NOT warranty work.. no offense when i ask you this but ,you do understand the difference of what is warranty work and what is not ?? correct ?
what you can do is ,, you can have the shop that did the work on your car take another look and fix the noise....and if they do fix it i would not go to that shop again ...OR
if you take it to dealer you will have to pay for any repair that they perform, unless it is so simple that they might not charge you
