Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Low Input

Default Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Low Input

I have a 2002 Honda Accord LX. Engine light went on so i plugged in my obdii and scanned it.
Got the result Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Low Input

engines seems to run poorly and stalled once.

Anyone know where the location of the MAP sensor is? or other ideas on how to fix it??

Suggest going to Autozone.com and look up diagnostic repair info on barometric pressure sensor. It is likely the sensor is faulty, but wiring or connector could also cause this problem.

Check the wiring like Tex says.

On a 4-cyl, the MAP sensor is on top of the throttle body #11. LX could have a V-6 engine, but you didn't say...


I'm not sure, but I think the Baro sensor is built into the ECU (not true for ALL years).

But in the Honda world, those 2 sensors don't share the same OBD-2 error code. Too bad you don't have the actual code number.
