I just noticed that the piece that was inside my gas tank door that held the gas cap while you were filling the car up is missing; there are two holes on either side where apparently it was, I don't know when it went missing as I never heard anything drop but I was wondering how I could get a replacement for this and what the name of the part would be. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Get it from a local Honda dealership. If you tried ordering from an internet dealer, the shipping costs will probably make the total costs higher than picking it up locally.

 

That was it! Thank you, thank you; not sure how my 16-year-old "lost" it in the first place lol, hope she takes better care of my baby, it only had 7 miles when I bought it. I really appreciate your help, you have no idea; I searched and searched and it kept bringing up a different part of the gas tank. You absolutely rock. I couldn't find it on-line for cheaper, my Honda dealer is charging me $6 but hey that still works for me!
