My 94's Moon roof has this issue. If I go to open it all the way, once the glass is fully retracted the motor keeps turning. It also does that when it is closed. ANyone know how to fix this?

 

The wiring diagram isn't clear on how the motor stops when opening or closing.

I would probably try picking up the moonroof switch from a junkyard and swap out the switch. I am not a fan of suggesting throwing parts at a problem, but the switch is very easy to replace. Picking up the switch at a U-Pull-It junkyard will likely cost you less than $10.

 

You mean the dash switch, right?

 

I suspect what tells the motor to stop are limit switches in the motor assembly. Kinda like the switch assembly inside a wiper motor that tells the wipers where to park when you turn them off.
