Default Motor Swap

So my wife recently bought an 87 accord with a A20A carb motor in it. doesnt run bad but it is very finiky, vacuum line golore under the hood. I my self have a stock 97 accord with an f22b1 and was wondering if the F22 motor would even be able to swap into it and if anyone has ever even tried. not sure how much of a pain it would be to put the f22 in and the old one is easy to pull out. im eventually gonna build an f20 to put in my 97 so i thought of rebuilding and slighty building the f22 for her 87. Any info would be greatly appreciated, i know i need the wiring and ecu which doesnt bother me to do cause i can do a full wire tuck as im swapping :-)

Check to see if "engine mount conversion kits" are available for this swap?

Nope no conversion kits available for my idea, but they do make kits for the b18 and b20 to swap into them altough i also have to swap the gas tank and lines for the fuel injection to work.

Ok so i decided, after much deliberation with my wife, we are gonna do a b18 swap. Though my concerns and how much they differ from years and models. I know the b18a1 will bolt right in, but id like a b18c out of a type r. Are they so different that ill need different mounts and axels?

I don't think so.....but I'm a "stock/OE" type of person.

Also, on the set up for FI. The tank does not need to be changed - the pump and lines - yes. EDIT: the whole "hanger" of the pump will need to be replaced so you have the return line - snag the entire "fuel pump hanger" from a FI model from a bone yard.
