i bought a 2001 accord dx non vtec with a bad motor. can i throw in a same year 98-01 4 cylinder vtec motor with out replacing other parts (ecu etc....)

ive cant seem to find an answer . the vtec motor are easier to find .

 

if you swap the engine for the vtec one you will need the vtec ecu and wire up vtec
