Hello, I have a 1995 Accord LX.

I've owned it since 1996 and I love me car.

I started noticing a while back that when it would rain, my car would crank, sputter and throw a check engine light. Other than that the car drove smooth.

Recently, when I would cold crank the car it would do fine, but if I turned it off and immediately tried to crank it wouldn't. It would turn over but nothing.

It showed a code 9 and so I purchased a new distributor. I installed it and things got worst. It now cranks horribly and when I was driving it, I notice it making a jerking feeling.

I'm lost and so is the guy that is helping me.

Any suggestions?

Recheck your codes with the new distributor installed and post them on here.

 

Will do. My mechanic also wants to check fuel pressure on Monday. I'm just worried about my car.
