Default My 1996 Honda Accord EX will not start

My Honda would not start. I had the battery checked out. All OK. So I installed a new starter. Started just fine. Second attempt nothing. No crank . Nada. Could it be the ignition switch Or I did see a bare wire hanging out. I read somewhere that a Honda would not start because of a torn wire from the neg battery terminal to the trans. Would that be this wire Thanks for any assistance.

I can't tell where that wire harness goes. Definitely fix the damaged wiring, because that could be the signal wire to the starter. I think the wire color is blk/wht.

Thanks. It turns out the lead to the solenoid was not on right. It was wedged against the metal piece but not inserted into. So it started when there was contact but then after the engine ran it fell out so it wouldn’t start again. I got it on right now and it’s fine. Thanks for taking the time to advise.
