Default My Accord99 doesn't move at the startup.

Hi,
I have an accord 99. It has 121k miles on it. It has automatic transmission, 2.3L, 4cyl, LX. When I first noticed the problem it wasn't accelerating properly after start up until the first gear change. I felt like something is braking. Now the problem became severe. It doesn't move forward when I take my foot off the brake after turning the engine on. If I step on the gas the car starts to move when the rpm is like 3000. And when I was experimenting to identify the problem, the engine turned off automatically and the emergency brake light became on although the brake wasn't engaged. If any can shed some light on possible reasons behind this problem that would very helpful for me.

Thanks,
~ Reaz

I'll assume no CEL or D4 light(s)? Have you checked the fluid level and condition in the trans and also check the fluid in the brake master cyl. Will the car roll when in neutral-checking what Blacksmoke suggested as far a sticking e-brake-assuming you use it.

Then the last, don't go there yet and I know this isn't what you want to hear. This gen does not have a very reliable trans...It could be going out but as I said don't throw in the towel yet.
