hello
everytime i ut down the clutch change gear/stop, my revs keeps falling down to 0 and then stalls
im not to sure wats causing the poblem
please help, or post anything that sounded familier to this problem that happened to you.

 

its an 86 accord btw

 

It could be the clutch is dragging (not fully disengaging) and stalling the engine. Another possibility is misadjusted throttle plate (stop screw adjustment) or choke plate (too closed flooding engine). Check carbuerator closely for correct function.

no i mean when u put it down it stalls
like fully down when u go to stop

 

I think what texashonda meant was that you can push pedal to the floor, but the clutch is not disengaging from the transmission.

It would be from a problem with the hydraulics of the clutch. Do you have any problems (grinding, etc) when you try to put the car into first gear?

 

the clutch makes a squeakin noise when i push it down
but other then that
not rly any problems i have had besides when im changin gear i let go of the clutch to early and its grinds when i try o put in the clutch

when this happened was around the same time the fuel woulda of swaped over to the new stuffand i forgot if i put in the rite fuel cause i normaly use premium 95 and i mighta putin somethin else but it wouldnt run would it??or
i also took foot off clutch and accelration to make it go by it self and then as soon as i started driving again the problem accured so :S

If the car tries move forward from a stop in first gear, with the clutch pedal pushed down, and you are not giving it any gas, then I would suspect a problem with hydraulics. Either the clutch master or slave cylinder.
