They would be reset. If there is a problem though, they will pop right back up.

Did you repair the issue before you cleared the codes?

If you want the expected way to clear them use a OBD reader to read and then clear the codes...

but as stated, you should fix the issue if it hasn't been corrected or they'll just come back.
