Has anyone had any luck contacting support to report a nav error? Do they respond to user input that could result in a fix for the next update? The nav voice is telling me to keep going straight at a T intersection! (hope this software/firmware isn't being used in future self-driving cars!) Do I contact Honda Cust Support, Honda Navigation Center, the HERE company? This same error has persisted on the 2014 version, and both the 2015 and 2016 updates. This intersection is close to home so I get to hear this gaffe all too frequently.

One question, Ed.. is that the only intersection where the mistake is being recommended?

 

That intersection is just about the only one with the problem. I went to http://www.here.com which is the company that builds the software, and they have a map (similar to google maps or mapquest). The intersection is printed correctly on the map. For some reason, the software is not interpreting it correctly. It should be easy to fix if the error could be pointed out to someone. Overall, the directions in general wherever I go are correct 99% of the time. Once in a great while I'll encounter a similar error at an intersection while traveling hundreds of miles from home, but this is rare.

Does the software company have a Customer Service department? Perhaps you can contact them

 

I haven't found contact information yet for Here, but I'll keep looking. They do have a Q&A forum which I might try.
