Honda accord owner had few may accords..

currently own 2013 honda accord sports 4 door (No navigation, No extra work done)

Recently someone stole my wheels all 4. I am having them replaced with insurance paying for the damage.
So now that this happend.. i want to put security alarm system in my brand new honda 2013 accord sports 4 door. Something like viper security alarm.

Question is : The mechanic is advising me to not mess with original security alarm that already came with new honda car. But i insist on putting new security alarm in car with auto start. So what do you guys say ? Should i install the new one or not mess with original security alarm that came with the car??

Btw, when wheels were stolen, alarm didn't go off.

You may want to contact Viper and find out what has to be done to work on a 2013 accord. Also find out if someone stealing your tires would set off the alarm.
