NEED HELP 2003 ACCORD LX
First let me say hello to the forums. Well heres the problem I went to get in my wifes honda and noticed that the rear passenger floor mat was soaked. I look under it and there was allmost a little puddle. It apears that it came from the floor vent under the seat. The check engine light just came on as well. So what do you think went wrong? Do theses accords use common heater cores? could it be that? thank you to all those that respond.

Antifreeze has a pretty unique smell. Can you recognize it?
If it's simply wet, check out your AC evaporator drain. There's a hose that empties out onto the roadbecause the AC dehumidifies the air. IF that drain hose gets plugged with dirt or kinked, water builds up & eventually spills out somewhere.
I figured it would spill out first into the front footwell, but ????

Thankyou for the responce. I couldnt smell any antifreeze in the car. So i thought it might be the a/c but didnt know where to look. I just droped it off at my local mechanic this morning. I hope he finds out that its just that hose is plugged up. I would hate for it to be something worse. I wish I would have stayed home from work to look at it. I dont have a shop manual for this car yet, but it looks like I better get one. I will let you know what they come up with.
