Help Driver Door Handle 1999 EX-V6 Coupe
I need to replace my broken driver side door handle on my 1999 EX-V6 coupe. I could not find any instructions on the net. I know that I need to replace the handle from the inside of the door.
Any help would really be appreciated. Thanks.

RE: Help Driver Door Handle 1999 EX-V6 Coupe
1. Take the door panel off. This is done easiest if the window is rolled down. There should be a screw in the behind the door lever, in the little pastic cup thing (what you put your hand in to close the door) and remove the plastic plug from the front-most part of the panel. Remove the lever by taking off the pastic "lock" and sliding the metal rod out of the lever and unplug the power lock switch. Next, remove the plastic covering where the mirror mounts next to the window. It has one metal clip behind it and a plastic tab, should pop off relatively easy but be careful. Then, try to fit your fingers or something strong and thing between the metal door frame and the door panel on the bottom. There are ~10 plastic plugs holding the bottom to the door and should pop off if you do it hard and quick enough. Next, unplug the the wires for the window/mirror controls and the wires for the courtesy light near the bottom. Lift straight up on the panel and it should pop out of the window slot.
2. Removing the handle. You should be able to see the 2 screws holding the handle in; unscrew them and force the handle out the other side and not damaging the rubber/plastic gasket.
3. Install the new handle and door panel in reverse order. Makes sure all of the switches work before screwing everything together again.
I have a 95 and it should be very similar for a 99.
