need help!! 96 accord lx obd1 swapped with f23a1 motor

Default need help!! 96 accord lx obd1 swapped with f23a1 motor

i have a 96 accord lx i swapped to obd1 dizzy and obd1 ecu the motor is a f23a1 i get spark and fuel but starts and dies on the the obd2 ecu but with my obd1 ecu it just sputters when cranking ...any help is appreciated thanks!!!

Sounds like two issues.

1. Wiring to the dist. On the ODBII (ECU and F23) one of the signals for the dist firing is off the crank sensor - located by the crank shaft behind the timing belt). So when running the ODBI dist you will need to wire that into the ECU. Now you have to ask if the ODBI ECU is worth it or stick with the ODBII.

2. Something else is wired/hooked up wrong.......starts but dies. I can only guess from here. Check the main ground on the drivers side intake plenum (G101). Next these are easy to have switched the MAP and TPS - what are the colors of the three wires currently plugged into the MAP sensor?
