Hello all , i posted last week about my 2000 accord A4 5spd misfiring got good adivse , it ate up the ENTIRE oil in about 3 weeks 400miles< , i been driving the car like this because i have no other transportation to work and it makes it fine without any issues to work (about 30 mile commute to there and back) and today to school (about 60 miles there and back) but i been looking into diffrent engines , and found two possible engines i might like ( iwant to stick to ULEV to make things as simple as possible because i am going to renting a car while my friend does the swap) any other places anybody reccomend to buy an engine ? im located in the central valley in CA near Sacramento , im willing to travel up to 400 miles in any direction to pick it up if necessary (even further) . ANY help would be very appreciated. THANKS in advanced.

Have you checked out car-part.com? It searches auto recyclers close to you. Should be able to find one in sacramento I'd think. Plus most will offer warranties and you can check the engine out before you buy it.

Thanks , yes i looked on there i found a few that seemed OK ill keep looking on there for any new engines that get put up . Anywere else? And most importantly what should i look for when going to pick up the engine?
