Default Need help lowering 2011 Sedan

Here's our issue. I'm assisting my brother whose lowering his 2011 Accord V6 on the Eibach Pro Kit. I say assisting, because he's not exactly mechanically inclined when it comes to suspension, and while I've been modifying suspensions for about 20 years, an accident that left me in a wheelchair a few years back really limits the help I can provide.

So, I guess I have some questions.

1. We've managed to drop the rear passenger assembly so far and replace the spring. But now we're having issues getting the strut assembly back up into the tower. Maybe we're just not compressing the spring enough? We've tried unbolting the forward/reverse trailing arm and the sway bar from the lower arm, but that didn't seem to help much. We're still about an inch from clearing the bottom of the strut past the arm.

I guess I just need more motivation and tell me to really crank on that spring compressor, unless there's something else that would make it much easier.

2. The front. What kind of suspension is it? Similar to the back with an arm or is it macpherson?

3. How do I change my avatar? Custom isn't an option.

4. Why doesn't my sig show up in my post?

#3 & 4 are just silly things about the website...

Find your picture for an avatar, re-size it to about 100-pixels or so. Post it in this thread & wait for a moderator to load it into your profile. I don't know why they don't allow users to do that for themselves, but that's the way it is.

After creating your signature, there's another setting somewhere else in the "User CP" screens. Look for a check-box that says something like "display my signature"... Again, I don't know why THAT setting is not located together with the form for creating your signature.

Re-check the spring is "clocked" in the spring mounts correctly.

The "threads" on the strut nut, is the nut at the same place or lower/higher than the OE?

Are you just doing springs or are you doing struts at the same time?
