Unhappy Need help on my 2010 accord transmission

Hi guys
I`m having a problem with my 2010 EX-L V6 auto transmission Accord coupe, the car is only 11k miles. The problem is everytime when I slow down the car to 20-25mph,when the transmission shifting gear the whole car will shake once,no matter I hit the brake or let the car slow down by itself.I took the car to dealership let them check it,they said the problem is when the transmission down shifting it gose from 3rd gear to 1st gear, thats why it will shake, they said this is compeletely normal, there is nothing they fix.I`m pretty sure not all cars does this, and i know there is problem with my car.so what i can do??? thanks

Automatic transmissions are pretty much tricky to repair. Try flushing the transmission fluid first and see if it helps you.

If the transmission shifting causes the car to shake, then there has to be a problem. This should be covered under the warranty.

If you have another dealership nearby, I would take your car to them.

Take it to another dealer, start complaining a lot. I hate to say it they may be waiting for the warranty to expire.

A new transmission from Honda for my 2002 was quoted at $4,500. I went and got it rebuilt for half that…. Don’t let them tell you its normal. There is nothing normal about this, 11k and thuds means that there is a significant problem, your transmission should be pretty close to butter smooth. When my tranny was starting to die I noticed that it would thud hard into 1st gear. So like rolling to a stop and then it was like putting a manual into 1st and letting the clutch out to fast… eventually it kept worsening and would thud harder and take longer to engage. It got to the point where I’d come to a light and wonder if 1st gear was anywhere around… waited 10 seconds with no gear engaged then thunk.. I also noticed slipping in 1st at this point. At the end of it’s life it no longer went into 1st and I had to start the car from a stop in 2nd.

I have the same problem and they told me the same thing that it's normal. I'm going to take it to another dealership as well. Let me know what they said so I know what was the problem. Thanks
