Default NEED HELP WITH O2 SENSOR!!!!

i have a 2003 accord lx 4 cylinder. The diagnostics report stated that the heating sensor was bad in bank 1 sensor 2. I was told the my car has three O2 sensors. My question is where are all three located and which one is bank 1 sensor 2?

Thank you for any advice

Most 4-cylinders have only two O2 sensors, one ahead of cat and one behind the cat. In my reference book on OBD2, Bank 1 Sensor 2 is the O2 sensor aft of the catalytic converter.

You may need to carefully elevate front and rear on jack stands to access the O2 sensor. I have also elevated one side of the car to do this job also.

You need a O2 sensor socket or 19mm combination wrench to remove the O2 sensor. They can be very tight. Warming the engine for 5 mins may help to breakthe sensor loose. I've had to use a hammer on the combination wrench to break them loose.

good luck
