92 accord tranny just quit, grinds only
my 92 accord automatic transmission just quit, i pulled up to a stop sign and went to drive away and teh tranny started grinding, sounds like it is not engaging, not sure if it the solinoid orthe valve bank.when he car is in parkit doesn't make any noise but pit it in reverse or drive and it grinds trying to engage. Also when in park you can move the car anywhere by pushing it.

have you checked the condition of the CV axles? that might be a problem as well. if that isnt the case then either the torque converter is going out or the transmission itself has died
