Default Need Help Please

Hello everyone, i am new here.

Well I have a 2000 accord sedan EX 2.4L 230k miles
I was driving in central california to Los angeles and when i was driving it was fine this whole time. When i was going to Los Angeles this weekend something happened that never happened before. I was driving up the hills to get to LA and i was going fine for like 15 minutes until i noticed that i was going slower and slower uphill all the while my rpm is still at 3 to 4k. I kept going slower so i pulled off to the side. When I opened the hood i kinda saw a little smoke from the left sided of my engine bay. Not a lot of smoke but some.

I let it cool down a bit and then i checked the transmission dip stick and it looked full to me. Then i checked my coolant resivour and it was very low so i filled it up. I checked under my car and saw little drops of some kind of fluid under my hood on the passenger side. Not big puddle or anything just quarter or half dollar size. After it cooled down i drove it back home to central california down from the hills. It seemed ok now but I am not sure what caused that. It drives normal now I think but its not uphill or anything. Does anyone know whats going on with my car? Thanks.

Find out what kind of fluid is leaking. Put a piece of white paper under the drip then compare the leaking fluid to the fluid on your engine dipstick, transmission dipstick, and the fluid in the radiator. (Wait until the car is cool before you open the radiator cap.) A guess is that your car is leaking coolant since the overflow tank was low, but that's just a guess. Depending on where it's dripping, it could just be plain water if the air conditioner was on or the climate control was in the defrost position.
