I'm having a probem with my trans and possibly something else.

I read the code (CEL blinks) and it was 43, if I'm reading it right.

Four long and three short.

Can anyone tell me what this code is?

I found the code, but not sure what could be the cause....

43 Fuel supply system

I f the fuel pressure is in spec and there are no large vacuum leaks the o2 sensor could be the problem.

 

The DREADED Code 43, the code got lost in translation, it really means the O2 sensor is reporting unburned oxides. [rich condition]
I'd pull the plugs first and see if they are carboned up and actually show signs of running rich. If so check all the basics.
The O2 sensor getting lazy/ misreadingcould also be the cause, but I'd check the easy/cheap stuff first.

From the smell of things, and without tearing into things yet, I'd agree about the 02 sensor acting up.
But would the 02 be responsible for the other syptoms I have, or could it be a different problem.

My car's tranny seems to be in limp mode , 1st and 2nd are only working, and the 'S' button is on, and I'm getting what can only be described as a stuck relay clikcing in/behind the dash that disappears once I push the brake and take the car out of park.

Any thought, anyone...??

 

The 'S' lite should flash a code in the same manner as checking ECU codes;

I checked the 'S' light today, and it stays solid while the ECL light flashes.

This was one thing I noticed when my tranny when to limp mode, the 'S' light would not go off.

I verified the code and it is 43. Fuel System.

Any thought, anyone...
