Default Need some help....Please

I have a 90 accord ex with about 142000 miles on it. I was slowing down for a red light and before I made a complete stop the light changed green and i went back to the gas pedal.....heard a "thud" noise and lost some power. I was able to drive the last 2 miles home however the car acted like it wanted to stall out when sitting still and when pushing on the gas pedal it felt like it was bogged down in power. The car starts fine and idles fine when 1st started but after it warms up it acts just like it did when this 1st happen. Any ideas on what to look at? thanks for any help you can give.

Did the check engine light turn on, or did the D4 or S light start flashing?

Inside or above the passenger floor compartment is a two wire blue connector.ITS BELOW the right side of glove box above the kick panel trim piece. this needs a wire or paper clip jumped or connected accross the two pins in the connector. your car is OBD 1 because its not a 96 or newer which is OBD 2 ( On board Diagnostics ) Once that wire is connected turn the key to the on possision so that instrument panel is all lights on . watch the flashing " engine " light and if you have an ex you will have a "sport" function in your automatic trany. You will also watch the "s" light if you have it and the D4 light assuming you have an automatic. When you say your check engine light is not on. Remember that OBD 1 cars dont keep the light on after a problem. You could have a code stored and not know it on OBD 1 CARS. Count the long blinks followed by short blinks and record. Let us know. this is the starting point.

Checked for codes and found the following......All of these are codes from "check engine light". Did not see any flashing of the "S" or "D4".

43 - which has been there over 2 years, changed filter, car has run fine since till now.
1
17

After doing a little research I read that the code 17 has to do with the speed sensor....however i understand from reading that for it to be the speed sensor I should have gotten the 17 code and some flashes from the "S". I may have misread this so any help would be nice....

thanks.

Default there for over two years

Code 43...did you go to DIY section. In the early 90's this was a problem! I almost glad to say I have forgotten what kind of fuel problem it was, Check bulletins.
