Hey guys from my last post i decided to take the car to a mechanic, the one that sold me the car i have a 1997 honda accord 4DR with 95k miles. Aparently the battery cables were somewhat loose, which cause the car's sensors to not work too proper, n also my car turned off n it ended up being the water was leaking.

Anyways i was wondering, When i purchased the car it was somewhat dirty the inside, the floor rug not the removable one, and also the side panel doors. are dirty , i was just wondering how i can clean all that, i mean i want to just grab a strong cleaning brush with some soap n mix a little of clorox with it, but what about drying it? will it give it a bad smell? has someone does this before? any better products i can use it just has bad dark dirt plus the smell aint too nice. the seats are in good condition tho. no dirt whatsoever just the doors, and bottom rug

 

Not sure about the water leaking?

I would avoid using bleach, because it could bleach the carpet.

I would probably use shop vac to remove as much dirt as possible. Then use some soap and water and scrub the carpet. Remove water/soap with shop vac. Allow to dry. Repeat if you did not get all the dirt removed. You can also buy some carpet cleaner and follow the instructions to clean the carpet.

For the smell: I would put some ammonia in a spray bottle and spray it on the carpet. Work it in with a brush. Allow it time to evaporate. An alternative way is to use some baking soda on a DRY carpet to absorb the odor, then vacuum up the baking soda.

The door panels are plastic, so I would spray windex and remove the dirt with a rag. The Mr. Clean Magic Eraser is really good at removing dirt that is embedded on the plastic. Just lightly spray around the switches to avoid getting solution in there.
