Default need some SECRUITY TIPS for my car please!

yeah, so like a year ago, my car got jacked and i got it back, paid 327 bucks to the impound place or something
dont want to have it happen again, wasnt a fun experience
the guys who jacked it took out my arlarm!!! WTF? i dont know how, we didnt even hear it go off and stuff
maybe cause i was sleeping? but anyways, i want more security for my car, harder for people to steal
so far, i bought the thing that you use to lock on your steering wheel, dont know what's it called, but yeah...lol

any good recommendations on arlarms?
plus, what do those new cars have that these old cars dont have?
what's so good about the newer cars' anti-thieft systems and stuff?

ive got the auto lock on my car. they could still steal it, but its going to take a little longer. hopefully the deterrance will make them move on.

id love to see someone try to take the car with the autolock still on it though. that would be hilarious

Here is a pretty quick and easy way to stop the theives. Make a kill switch. I did it for my friend and it was pretty easy. You have to find a wire that when cut will not allow the car to start. I chose the fuel pump wire (there are a bunch of wires that will work). Pretty much we cut the fuel pump wire at the fuel pump and wired a switch in line with the wire for the fuel pump. Again, there are several wires that will accomplish the same thing and you can cut it in many different places. We then mounted the switch in a spot that isn't too obvious. The way that the switch works is that when you put the switch in the open position, the fuel pump won't get any power. It doesn't matter what the thief does, he will never get the car to start until he finds the switch. No fuel = no start. The best part about this is that you can put the switch anywhere, and as long as you do a good job of hiding it will take the thief a long time to search for the switch. The thief prolly don't want to stick around searching for a switch.

That is a great idea Agent....[sm=goodidea.gif]

I don't kow if your glove box locks but if it does that may be a good place to put the kill switch. Not that your glove box is very secure, but it will give that added bit of annoyance to the theif that may make him move on....[sm=signs003.gif]

Thats where my friend's kill switch is, except his glove box doesn't lock.[sm=happybounce.gif] Very Funny ...even if it's true
