New 2010 Accord EX Coupe HELP!!!
Hey guys,
Glad I found this forum. US accord onwers used to havean other forum 10 years back but it went away in 2004. I have been proud owner of 1991 Accord Coupe, 1995 "", 2002 "", and just purchased 2010 Coupe EX on saturday.
I dont know what has happened but this car is extremly bumby. I am feeling every little bumb in the road as if springs are not even installed. Believed me I already checked. So far I have put 250 miles on the baby.
My questions to anyone listing is, what recourse do I have. All y purchases have been used. The frst time I purchase a new accord and I feel screwed. The ride has given me a headache and feels worse than a roller coaster. Can I complain to honda or is this normal with new cars. Does it need to be broken in after 2k miles and the suspensiojn will settle. Please give advice.

I got a 2010 Accord LX-P with 16inch rims no more than 5 days ago. I have driven the car about 260 some miles and I will say that coming from a 1998 Camry V6 with shocks and springs that are shot, it is indeed stiffer, but never uncomfortable. I actually like the solid ride quality because it feels, dare I say, sporty . I am guessing that after about 1500-2000 miles the suspension will become more settled, but I don't know if it will ever be mushy. I don't know how harsh your car rides but maybe there is something wrong with your cars suspension, if something is up, I am sure Honda will fix it under the warranty. Or maybe you are used to softer riding cars and this stiff ride is not of your liking.

Look at my posting under Good year tires.
Goodyear Assurance Comfortred they act like road silencers. I commented about someones wanting softer springs in this forum so look for my suggestion under the title Goodyear tires.
