If you can't afford Brembo then Hawk HP pads are great too. If money is short then Honda OEM will work just fine.

Brembo kicks @$$ for rotors, but their pads ..... while they give excellent braking, they are known for a lot of dusting. I use Brembo Sport-drilled rotors and Hawk HPS pads ..... I'd like to try Hawk HP or EBC Redstuff next time.

Stay away from Hawk HP + (cermaic) unless you are racing, they brake EXTREMELY well WHEN they are hot but slip a bit when they are cold.

I should have clarified, Hawk HP are fantastic pads, they also make a Hawk HP Plus, those are ceramic and designed for race use they work on the street but not that well until they are hot, once they are hot you could easily bounce someone's head off the dash even with a slow speed stop...

honda pads and rotors should cost about $280 (ballpark) and have excellent qualitys(low dust, low noise when installed correctly(moly, clean corrosion, the whole 9 years).

we routinely see people make 50,000 miles on them, or slightly more if you don't race/abuse them.

SN: So HP is good for sport/street use and HP+ isn't? Seemed odd since I've heard good things about HP for street use. Could you compare HP to Redstuff?
