new bumper on 99 ex (first post)

Default new bumper on 99 ex (first post)

so this girl i know has a 99 ex that she mashed the front on, its not to bad because all she did was mess up the bumper cover. i was wondering if anyone has pictures or advice on how to change it, i have already got a new one from a scrap yard. any help would be appreciated.

The Online Manuals thread in the DIY section has a shop manual that you can download for the 98-02 accord. It covers UK accords, but it should be pretty similar. The Haynes manual that you can pick up at a parts store should have the steps in it as well.

When I did by 95, I had to take out the plastic wheel well splash guards. Unscrew the turn signal lights, so I could then unplug them. I had to remove some bolts from the fender to the plastic bumper. There were 2/4 bolts holding the bumper to the frame of the car.

Look at the replacement bumper to see what holes have bolts missing to give you and idea of what to do.
