Default New Civic Under 300 miles: Oil switch?

Just bought a new 2007 Civic LX 2 weeks ago. Considering using Pennzoil Platnium Synthetic oil, Purolator filter, and installing a drain valve from fumotovalvesoon. When should I make the switch? I am concernedwith the engine "break-in" period.

Clarify: Still have the same factory oil installed. I believe it is 5w20 dino. The switch refers to dino --> synthetic.

I'd agree, leave the factory oil in there until you need to do an oil change. It typically has some special addatives to help facilitate proper break in and wear, then switch.
