Hey thx for welcome message, regarding my previous post and word regarding a 6spd manual upgrade for 4cyl? I had a huge rock go up underneath took out 3 motor mounts. Transmission casing is damaged as well as grinding in transmission. Im buying another car from my father and going to race this car in SCCA. Anyway I want to begin modifying the car beginning with clutch and transmission. Any suggestions on 6spd swap? I'm in los Angeles, ca by the way. Thx arvind

I don't think any USDM honda/acura 6 speed will mate with the 4cyl. Unless you get a euro spec or JDM spec 6 speed out of a euro R. but then you might just want to get the engine (K20A) and transmission or whole car for that matter, which trying to get into the US would suck... not to mention trying to get you car legal and insured after doing all that would be a colossal PITA. I know of one person who did this and he about lost his mind trying to get the thing legal.

Your transmission is toast if the case is truly cracked. I would start by calling around to the salvage yards to see if you can get one pulled. The 5 speed is more than enough for the 4 cyl. (light years better than any honda auto) A better clutch and a lighter flywheel would be all that I would consider in terms of trans. Your money would be better spend making the motor a NA or FI beast.

Oh and your in CA... haha forget about getting anything non USDM licensed there. Sorry but its the truth CA has some strict laws in regards to that.
