Default New Member, HELP!

Here's the deal, I'm trying to trade my 98 Integra LS for something else, or just sell it. I'm asking 3700, OBO, (has rebuilt head with low miles, but 208k on the body, and some body damage to the hood and front bumper. I got an offer for a 1992 Accord 4 door with a H22 swap. I saw it tonight and it looked clean. I didn't have much time to stick around for a drive or anything, but told the guy that I'd get a hold of him tomorrow to meet again. The Accord looked clean, and the engine looked and sounded very nice. There's about 150k on the body, and 60-70k on the H22 and 5sp manual trans.

What issues are there with H22 swapped Accords? Anything I should look for in particular? I'm going to be bringing a compression gauge with me and checking that. What else should I look for? If there are any members in the Seattle area that would be willing to check it out, I'd appreciate it, (maybe a beer or two would be in order?)

Any advice at all would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

The techs that are on here always suggest having a shop that specializes in Honda/foreign cars do a buyers inspection. It is well worth the investment.

H22 swaps into 90-93 accords are common, so there is a lot of information about that swap. You should find out as much information about the swap from the owner as possible. What prelude engine was used? What wiring harness/ECU was used? Was the harness modified?

The other thing to remember is that some parts come from the accord, others are from the prelude. You should take a look at the H22 swap guide in the DIY section to inform yourself on the specifics of the swap. It will help you when you inspect the car.
