Default New Problem!

This just happened over an hour ago..

1997 Honda Accord, 2.2lt 4cylinder v-tec

I rolled my window down earlier and when i tried to roll it back up because it was starting to pour down raining it wouldn't roll back up at all... seems to be a usual problem.. All the other windows work, roll up and down, and the driver side window will only roll down, but will not roll up.. i already have the door panel off, but don't know what to do next.. I've been googling and youtube'n stuff on it and people says its either the regulator or main switch.. there is no noise when trying to roll it back up. Also can not just push it up, it won't budge.. not trying to break anything on the door or the window itself.. it's become very frustrating! i have other problems with it as well and now this!

1. Sound like a bad window regulator. The window regulator/motor is replaced as an assembly, if it is bad. It is not hard to do if that is the case.

2. To test the motor (I will assume this is the driver's side), apply direct 12 volt battery power and ground to the motor side. Positive (+) to terminal No. 4 and negative (-) to terminal No. 3. to try to raise the glass. See attached image.

You can use some long speaker wire to run to the car battery if you do not have a separate 12 volt power source. Be very careful when connecting wires at the car battery to not touch any positive to negative. (Do not let the wires you're using to do the test touch together.)
