New guy 96 Honda new problem
Hey everyone,
My name is Mike, I own a 1996 Honda accord LX 2.2 Vtec. It is british version car, so yes I drive on the wrong side of the car, but it is ok since I am on the wrong side of the road..LOL. Anyway have an issue I am hoping someone can point me in the right direction. My high beams don't work at all. Checked the fuse it's fine. When I pull the lever nothing happens. Except one of the relays will humm, I have replaced the relays and sometimes it will humm sometimes it won't but nothing else happens. the low beams don't turn off, and the indicator light on the dash doesn't come on either. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Mike

Cheers from across the pond. I have a helm shop manual for a 1997 Honda Accord and I might be able to help. Does your UK version have daytime running lights? The shop manual on page 23-177 has a schematic for the Canadian version of the Accord with daytime running lights. Page 23-176 has a schematic for the US version. I will be happy to scan and send the more correct schematic if you are interested. Please let me know by pm.
Sincerely,
Brķan S. Du Bois
