Default New torque wrenches, but which ones..

I have it narrowed down between two brands and two types..

I'm looking at CDI and Precision Instruments. It's also between the microclick and split beam type. This is for personal use only. I like the idea of not having to "work in" the split beam before use after it has set a while but the microclickers seem a little more accurate.

Any opinions?

Thanks

I'd go with the "microclick".

I bought a 1/2 beam ($5 at a yard sale) to do the tire torque but that is all it does for me.

I have both a 3/8" CDI micrometer type and a PI 1/2" split beam. Both are good brands and good torque wrenches. I like that you don't have to dial down the split beam after use and it is easier to set desired torque, but it is also bulkier than the equivalent micrometer type.
