New User With A 89 Honda Accord

I don't have a wiring diagram for the 89 accord.

The hazard relay is the same between your 89 and my old 95 accord, so the inputs will be the same.

You will need a volt meter. Unplug the hazard/turn signal relay. It should have three pins labeled L, B, and E in the picture attached. You want to test the proper pins on the fuse box.

E should be a closed circuit to ground (zero resistance).

With the key in the II position, and car not running:

B should have voltage when the hazard switch is turned on and turned off.

Let us know what you find.

Ight I'll try that, and no problem with those lights on mine, lol my car has only 80k miles on it. Had to replace the fuel pump and filters, was buckin and stailling before i did that. What color is yours? and is your engine a lil rusty too :P

Kerby- If the relay checks out you will then you'll want to move to the combination switch and test it. Again be sure all fuses are good-underhood(? can remember, will check later) and under dash
