NM/NC Speed Sensors Removal
Hello All,
Whats the best way to remove these sensors? I wanted to clean them and test resistance. Car jerks when shifting and I read somewhere in this forum that dirty sensors might be a culprit. The space to access them is really restricted and I dont know which tools will work for such confined space
Thanks!

The D4 flashing happened like twice last year (few months gap). I didnt count how many times. I just put the car to rest for about 5 minutes that last time and it never happened again ever since (months passed already). Also car wont shift to 2nd gear on very cold mornings. I have had to run the car for like more than 3 minutes before it would shift to 2nd and up again (jerk is always there though)

When was the last time you drained and refilled the transmission fluid?
It is not the sensors that you read about, it is the solenoids. A bad sensor should set a code. They are bolted on the transmission and look like this:
Unbolt those and clean the screen and solenoid with some throttle body cleaner.
The TCU is another item can go bad on these cars. You may want to open up the TCU and look for any signs of damaged capacitors or burnt components on that board.
