Default No brake lights!

So i was informed by my buddy that i do not have any brake lights while he was following me the other day. So i went to troubleshooting, seems like an easy fix, find the fuse replace and go on my way. I checked all the fuse boxes and none of them appeared to be blown, but i couldn't seem to locate specifically which one is the brake lights. I see turn signals, running lights, etc... but no brake lights. Can anyone tell me exactly where the brake light fuse is? Also how often does the brake petal switch go out? I kinda have a feeling this might be it since i checked all the fuses and they were ok. I looked under the dash to make sure it was coming out when i depressed the petal and it was but i thought maybe something was wrong with it. Any input?? thanks i nadvance

Also, check the fuse box under the hood. Do your tail lights work?

Thanks for telling me at least what the fuse was called, the guys at the honda shop kept saying "brake lamps" i kept telling them that wasn't on there. I'll check that one when i leave work. Also if the brake petal switch was bad is it safe to assume that when i tapped my brakes while on cruise control that if the switch was bad it wouldn't cut off the cruise? Or does it get that signal from another place on the brake pedal? thanks for all your help guys and i put a little about my car in my sig. it's bone stock so i guess i should list mods such as new brake pads, new rotary cap from autozone, and new spark plugs

If the brake light switch was bad then you woouldn't be able to shift out of park.To double-check, turn the car on and the radio off, and close all of the windows. Now hit the brakes .... you should be able to hear the transmission lock soleniod whenever you hit the pedal. It's very quiet though ..... this is why you don't hear it when you're not listening for it.

Also, please add your friends year/trim/doors/tranny to you signature ...... and yours if you plan to post on here in the future.
