Default No Crank, No Start ignition.

So I've been tackling this issue for almost a month now, and still getting no where. I have a 1996 accord v6, when I turn on the car there is no cranking. I bought all new, alternator, battery, starter, and ignition switch. and nothing seems to work still. the only thing that would turn on the car is if I take a wire and place one end to the positive battery terminal and tap the starter solenoid it starts right up while the key is turn to the 2 position or 3rd forgot but just before the last. can someone help ? Is this a typical sign of a bad Neutral Safety Switch? I would like to know before I go spending more money on parts that I don't need.

You should investigate whether small blk/wht wire at the starter is receiving a 12v start signal. It likely is not based on your jumper test

Next check whether start relay is getting power, ground, and control signal (keyswitch) to start. A wiring diagam is essential. Check BBB Industries free info.

good luck
