Check the underhood fuse #23 15amp.
This is a common problem of a bad comboswitch.
Remove the steering column shroud [screws underneath it]
Next with the switch on,check the Red/black wire coming from the 'comboswitch' for power out to the marker lights.

fuse 23 also powers the dash lights. is there only one wire off the combo switch? or is there a wire for dash lights and a wire for markers?

Splice 452 [S452] is where the power heads out to the front marker lights.

so its somthing to do with the running light relay(thats whats it says on the side of the relay) and/or the harness attached to it.

I did probe the wires from the combination switch and its fine, even when the markers were not working the correct wire had power. so I was looking under the dash and saw a relay that said "running light relay" on the side of it, gave the harness and connector small tug and suddenly im getting the ding dong noise from it and I get out to find the park/marker lights are all on. the funny one though is later in the day they stoped working again so I gave the harness a wiggle and they worked again so I opened the drivers winder and turned the lights off by reaching through the open window. came back an hour later and reached in to turn the lights on and they didn't work, reached under to wiggle the harness and they came on. unfortunatly my haynes manual does not show the running light relay(maybe I just cant find it or they list it as something else) so I dont know what the wires from it do.

the pages of the schematic don'tshow the power to the front markerlights going thru any relay. The next page of the schematic shows the wires going straight out to the marker lights.
I went back and searched "light relay" on the interactive network but found no relay?
But if you are wiggling something to make them work you can now increase your frustration [LOL]by trying to find the exact point of the power loss.
Repost when you find the problem, stray electrons always interest me.
