hey fella's,
I have a 97 accord f22b2 motor that's AT. I just recently replaced the cap, rotor, wires, and plugs in thecar. After i had done all of that stuff, the car won't start. It's not the battery cause the car turns over and the battery just won't die. So i went back and replaced everything back to what i had originally had on there when the car was running and it still won't start. I've checked the firing order, coil, pretty much everything, its all in order. I even hooked up a OBII reader on it and it showed no problems. What makes it really weird is that it's getting spark to the plug (i pulled a plug out and check the spark) and everytime i pulled out the plug it was wet with gas and also smelled of gasoline. So now my only conclusion is that the ICM (ignition control module) has gone bad and it's holding the car back from running. Help me out guys before i have to take it to a shop and get ripped off for something stupid!
Thanks!

I've seen the in-air spark test give a false sense that spark is OK. Try checking the spark using a timing light on a spark plug wire. If spark is occuring the timing light will flash, or not if no spark is occuring. The compression in the cylinder provides higher resistance to spark. If no spark is indicated, the coil is prime candidate. There isa procedure in the DIY section to distinguish between coil and ignitor. Coil is much more likely IMO.
good luck
good luck
check the timing, its possible that you bumped the dizzy during installation of the cap and rotar (not probable, but quick and easy tocheck).
also maybe your timing belt jumped a few teeth, or worse, broke in which case you probably have some bent valves.
