Yes, good to hear. Hang on to the part for a while - and the code forever. I'm not sure but the e-brake code on some gives you like 5 cycles before it goes out...I could be wrong on this.

Anyway, hang on to everything just in case it decides to act up again. Again I gave the story of a friend where his never acted up after the one time he had to enter the code.

Yes, definitely hang onto the part AND the code. That's 1 I never knew/heard of until you brought this subject up. I need to check into the code for the 99 and the 00 I have here.
This is what I really love about these forums, questions answered before I can ask them.

Does anyone remember the code. Bc I think it may be the same problem for my 99honda accord 4cylinder 2.3 LX automatic.

The Immobilizer Brake Code is specific to the individual vehicle. The dealer can provide it.
