Default Noise under the engine

My 1999 Accord LX has a noise coming out under the engine specially when I hit a little pothole or a bump. I check everything and all are tight under. Somebody told me to replace the sway bar bushing and sway bar end link. Could it be the bushing and the end link. Help. It's driving me crazy.

Yes it can very well be that. The only way to really check the bushing is to disconnect the end links and check for play. Vise versa they only way to really check the links is to unbolt the bushing and then check for play. Essentially, unless one of the two are crazy bad, the load that is on them while connected makes it almost impossible to check without disconnecting either the links or the bushings. If it is the bushing unbolt them, remove the metal collar and wrap electrical tape around the bushing while it is still on the sway bar. Reason for this is the sway bar is the culprit as it is usually worn a little, thus creating play and the clunk that is commonly associated with it. The tape acts as a shim. The other option if it is the bushing try replacing them and if that does not solve the problem then replace the sway bar too. If it is the links it is pretty simple, replace them. Hope this helps.
