Hi, my 1990 accord recently starting making a real annoying high pitch noise comming from under the hood. It usually starts making the noise around 2500rpm. If anybody has any suggestions about what is the root of the problem they would be greatly appreciated. I think i might have an idea were the noise is comming from. I think it might be the little black part just above the vtec ingravement with the hose leading to the throttle body. What is this part and were can i find another??

i would say check your belts...you may have to replace them...

 

That little plastic elbow above the VTEC symbol is your PCV valve.

 

^I agree with the idea of checking your belts first.
