Default O2 sensor on 89 accord LXI Help

i got the 2 O2 sensors for my 89 accord LXI.but i cant get them off with a 22MM wrench or a Deep 22MM socket the Right Fan is in the way.The ? i got do they make a special wrench that has a bend in it.THANKS AGAIN. (PS What A GREAT SITE)

You will probably have to remove the fan.

Local parts stores will loan out O2 tools - you put down some money, use the tools, return them and get your money back.

Next, those things have been there for years so it is going to take a bit of "leverage" to help them decide to come out . You can also use your favorite "spray lube" to help them decide to come out.

Well i got the 2 new O2 sensors put in and i have the same problem.Sometimes it starts right up and the next time it might start and its like its flooding but if you hold the gas down for about 15 seconds it will clear up and run fine.Then the next 10 times it might start right up and run fine.Then the next time its like its not fireing at all just spins the motor over and never trys to start. then the next time it might just start right up someone PLEASE help me get it going. THANKS AGAIN

Ok, you need to figure out if you are missing fuel or spark when the engine will not start. Do you have a timing light to see if you are getting spark when the motor won't start? You can also try spraying starter fluid into the intake while someone tries to start the car with the key.

but what about the times it starts but its like a miss or a flooding problem but if i hold the gas pedal down about a 1/3 of the way for about 10 to 15 seconds it clears up same thing look for a fuel or spark problem. and will run fine for a far as you drive it. THANKS AGAIN

The problem you have when the engine will not start is likely the same problem as the miss when it does start.
