O2 Sensor Help
Hello Everyone,
I was hoping to get some help on my O2 Sensing system.
Vehicle is a 2002 Honda Accord LX, 4-cylinder.
Went in for a smog and failed due to a PCV failure. Easy, cheap fix and CEL turned OFF. Some miles down the road, CEL turns back on and says my 02 Sensor is bad (I can't remember the exact code but it was for the down stream). I purchased a Bosch down stream sensor Federal emissions (not California) and swapped it. Drove it some afterward, and CEL came on again. This time, I changed the upstream (Bosch, federal emissions) sensor, CEL came on AGAIN after some mileage.
The current code I'm getting is "P1167 - H02S11 Heater Circuit (VS+) Fault".
Before I continue experimenting, I was wondering if this is due to buying the Federal emissions sensor and not the California? California is more expensive.
Hope you can help, thanks!
