Default Odd clicking/rattle from interior heater blower

Hello-you may have some good advice for me. I have a 1999 Accord that I am just now breaking out of long-term storage. I have installed the battery (it is fine) and removed the protective plastic covers from the engine exhaust, and the air intake under the hood. The car starts up very well but when I turn on the HVAC motor/fan that sits under the glovebox I hear a loud rattle that varies with the motor speed. I suspect that some little critter took up residence within the motor (even though I sprinkled mothballs throughout the interior before storing the car). My guess is that I need to open up the motor and the easiest access appears to be from the inside just below the glovebox. Not very much room to get at it, but how else can I investigate this noise? Thanks in advance for your "sound advice" (bad pun I know )!

Open up and look inside..one of those little critters may have been storing Acorns in your heater box area..seen it happen before..

Good Luck with it!
